Mark never got beaten by this disease, it took him. It wasn’t a fair fight, if it was he would be here now. The things he was made to endure would be enough to make the strongest person give up.

I would like to shown my gratitude to this wonderful hospice for what they have done for Mark and his loved ones. 

After almost a year of fighting for the care and attention Mark deserved from hospitals, consultants and GP’s, Kilbryde Hospice swooped in when we were at our lowest. These angels have wiped out tears, made us laugh, held our hand, made us food, let us be together, gave us gifts, a bed...the list goes on. The most important thing they done was give Mark the feeling of being important, his life being valued for what he had left.

I will never forget what they done for Mark. He deserved the best and that’s what they gave in abundance.
