Story
Last March my little brother was diagnosed with MS. He had suffered some symptoms which he couldn't explain and had them investigated. After checks, tests and consultations he was diagnosed with relapse remitting MS and we learnt that these symptomatic episodes were relapses. Many people would have been frightened and completely floored by this news but Rhod was able to be calm, brave and confidently reassured his friends and family that he would be fine. His attitude was everything in life and he sought the best in all he did.
By the Autumn my bright young brother was diagnosed with devastating lung cancer. He battled with force and determination and set about tackling this enormous challenge with all the positivity and strength he possessed.
On 12 April my hero lost his battle and passed away leaving the entire world a poorer place. Those who have ever met him will know just what a loss this is. For the short time, just 27 years, that he was here he was courageous, kind and shone very bright. It would mean a lot to him that a charity he supported is recognised with a donation.
