I am going to be climbing Everest...virtually!  8,849 metres of ascent (the equivalent of 3,971 times up and down the stairs at home!) to raise £2,000 to buy an interactive whiteboard for Project Mala.

Project Mala was founded in 1989 as an action programme for the abolition of child labour in the hand dotted carpet industry in India.  The 15 schools provide education for children up to secondary school level, a hot midday meal for all children and healthcare facilities.
