This summer I will be taking on a huge challenge, climbing the The Rwenzori Mountains, on the border between Uganda and the Congo, followed by helping to build playgrounds for deprived children across Uganda. I am doing this to raise money for East African Playgrounds, a UK registered charity that aims to change the lives of children across East Africa by developing children’s learning opportunities and environments. They work alongside local communities to build simulating and exciting playgrounds, run arts and games programs as well as developing long term employment and training opportunities for young people across East Africa.

Obviously this is going to be an incredibly tough challenge (anyone who knows me knows that getting out of bed is a touch challenge for me!), and it's for an incredibly worthwile cause, so I hope that everyone I know can dig as deep as you can; any donation, small or large, will be hugely appreciated!
