Story
Some of my 2018 Goals include:
- Do something physically challenging
- Do something that scares me
- Raise a lot of money for charity
So as someone who has never made it past week 3 of her 'Couch to 5k' app completing a The Royal Parks Half Marathon will definitely tick off both the physically challenging and scary parts of my goals off!
As for the raising money part - I will be running for Young Women's Trust. Young Women's Trust supports and represents women aged 16-30 struggling to live on low or no pay in England and Wales and who are at ris of being trapped in poverty. A cause close to my heart, having been a single mum at 21 and feeling fearful for my future. Luckily I had a support network around me that allowed me to rise and I want to see other young women do the same. YWT can help with that, with free services such as CV advice and confidence coaching.
