Story
In January 2020 we will be setting off to Rovaniemi to spend 3 days trekking into the Arctic Circle were temperatures can get to as low as -40! If you know Rhi, you will know she is generally a cold person and has been known to have 2 duvets even when in Australia!
This is definitely going to be a tough challenge but we are so excited and honored to be going with the fantastic MS Society Scotland.
There are over 11,000 people with MS in Scotland. That makes MS more common in Scotland than most other countries in the world.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition, that means it affects your nerves. You get it when your immune system isn’t working properly. Your immune system normally protects you by fighting off infection, but in MS it attacks your nerves by mistake.
These nerves control lots of different parts of your body. That’s why you can get MS symptoms in many parts of your body. It’s also why everyone’s MS is different.
The MS Society work to raise awareness and funds so that one day we can Stop MS.
