Rhian's 2.6 Challenge

The 2.6 Challenge · 26 April 2020 ·
Sunday, April 26th, would have been the day that the 40th London Marathon took place. Due to the bizarre times we now find ourselves in, this event has cancelled and the funding that so many charities rely on to survive has been jeopardised. While I wasn't due to participate, 2 years ago I "ran" (ok, more like barely crawled...) the Newport Marathon and I know how reliant charities are on the fundraising efforts of these types of events.
So, 2 years later, fatter and less fit, I am, once again, going to run 26.2 miles... but this time across 10 days. I haven't set a fundraising target as I know this is an incredibly difficult time for us all - particularly financially (trust me, I'm right there with you!) - but if you would like to donate even £1 to my chosen local charity, The Wallich, I would be so very grateful. Thank you xx
About The Wallich:
The Wallich is doing something about homelessness. They operate under three core objectives: getting people off the streets; keeping people off the streets; and creating opportunities for people. They believe that everyone deserves the right to a home, but more than that, that everyone deserves the right to feel safe, to feel valued and to feel positive about their future.
Please sponsor me today and ensure The Wallich continues to offer a lifeline to people sleeping rough, helping them to take their first step out of homelessness.
