We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

My mother Lynne has been with me my whole life; has shared the good moments and always helped me through the bad - I wouldn't be the girl I am today without her love and guidance. I'm sure you would say the same about your mother if you are lucky enough to have and know her!

When my mum was just 11-years-old, she lost her own mother - my grandmother - to cancer. To lose the most important woman in your life at that age, or any age, is absolutely devasting, and makes me realise how lucky I am to still have my mother by my side!

On the 10th of July, Lynne and I are running 5k in the Race for Life: Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.

Cancer has caused my mum to lose her own mother at an age when no little girl should, and has caused me to never experience having a grandmother, something I have regrettedly missed out on in life. We want to help Cancer Research UK find a way to beat cancer, so that no one else has to miss out on, or perhaps never even begin, important relationships within their life.

Please donate now to sponsor us! You can donate as little or as much as you choose and it's quick, easy and totally secure!

Thank you!
- Zoe
