Race For Life 2011
This is the third year this mother and daughter race for life team are taking the challenge to run for charity. The last two years they stuck to the 5km run but this year they decided that they would go that one step further and double their challenge by going for the race for life 10K event in Loughborough on 26th June 2011.
Rebecca Hollingsworth, despite feeling a little crazy and unsure when submitting the application for the 10K and knowing that this years challenge wont be easy, she decided with her daughter Jasmine Hollingsworth that they would more than double their sponsorship target this year to £500. Raising money for charity isn't always easy so all the support they can gain from your sponsors this year will be gratefully recieved.
Jasmine Hollingsworth, who will be age 13 on this years race, which will be her third year of running for charity, has been lucky enough to recieve her Cervical Cancer Vaccine this year at school which is a reminder as to the kind of things that can be gained from raising money for this continually worthwhile cause.
Thoughts of friends and family who have been affected by Cancer over the last year and the years before that, make this event something they want to contiue supporting each year.
Hopefully, the girls continuing to put in this effort will encourage you all to continue supporting then by sponsoring them each year.
