We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Help more people beat cancer

Like most families we have been affected by cancer.

My father died of bowel cancer in 2000 and my mother nursed him through it only to discover in 2011 that she too had bowel cancer.  She died in March this year and is deeply missed by all the family.  She was very special.

In 1985 my husband Steve developed cancer at the age of 32  when our daughters were just 6 and 4.  Thanks to the treatment he received he still fighting fit  today to enjoy our grand daughters.

Sarah and I have run the race for life for the last 10 years and I was going to give it a miss this year as I did not feel emotionally strong enough.  However Sarah has talked me into it and we will be raising funds as usual on 22 July, 2012 so please give generously.

Gift Aid it!

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Every pound you donate really does make a difference - so please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support. Together we will beat cancer.
