Hiya! My dad had cancer 5 years ago, its an awful thing for any family to go through and so many do. The dread that little word brings cant be explained but is felt by everone who is told they have it, it affects family and friends in a way that few other illnesses do. It was very tough but he beat it thanks to all the research that has gone into looking for treatments and cures, but there is still alot of work that needs to be done! I'm running 5k to give a little bit back to the people who helped my dad beat his cancer, thank you so much xx
