I was diagnosed in March 2008 with having breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy on my darling grandson's 4th birthday. The support and kindness from all the staff at LGI Breast Cancer Unit and St James's Oncology Unit was second to none. I just want to give something back. I will be doing the Race for Life at Temple Newsam with my daughter Kathryn who decided not to just support me but to do it with me.
