Story
I did it in the torrential rain and cold winds, through muddy fields and still had a smile on my face even when I was pouring the water out of my shoes at the end. It was amazing that so many people turned up to do the race and many people also turned up to support us. I don't think we will ever forget that day.
Thank you everyone for your fantastic support. x

Hello
Here I am (far left) with my Step-Dad, Michael and my sister, Mandie (see fourth picture). Michael was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in May 2009 and has had fantastic support from the Royal Marsden in Surrey and despite being told that he might not make Christmas 2009...well....as you can see from the picture which was taken in April 2011 - doesn't he look well! I want to do what I can to help beat this devastating disease. Having watched the effects on Michael and our family, and also having known too many people who this affects I pray that someone somewhere finds the cure to stop this tearing more families apart.
Help more people beat cancer.
