Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. Someone you know has had or will have cancer and by sponsoring me now you are able to help more people like Lizzie who depends on their reasearch to find a cure for this terrible disease. Three years ago she was diagnosed with skin cancer and has been through horrendous treatment and operations. She is now 21, receiving chemotherapy, suffering the indignity of loosing her hair, her confidence, is very scared about the future, and feeling generally like sh*t - what were you doing when you were 18 - 21?
