For all of you that know me well, you will all know sadly my mum passed away march 2009 and in memory im going to be doing the 5k race for life with my aunty (sister in law) and her daughter (her neice) to support the cause and raise money to make those people and familes who are suffering have more chance of being cured to prevent loved ones like my mum being taken out this world to early..

She was such a loving mother, loyal friend and a big family member who kept the family strong.. she had many hard years of suffering due to breast cancer, at first they removed it and went through half the year being treated and then the other half of the year recovering to find out that it had turned into tumours and then whole cycle began again only to find once again the cancer was back spreading more and more.

My mum was so strong minded hroughout the whole 5 years and i dont know how she put up with me as a teenager at the same time.

I some times wonder how she did stay so strong and kept going and always thank her for doing so, unfortunatley the time came when god needed an angel and took her life so shortly, this has got to be the hardest time in my life as well as the familys... if it wasnt for her showing me how to stay strong i dont even know how i would of managed!!

She raised me up to be the girl i am today and when i think about that it makes me so proud to know that was thanks to my mum!

When time is short i have had plenty of regrets wishing why couldnt there be longer, why did i have to act like a teenager towards her because i didnt get my own way every now and then and just genrall stuff i can never take back or change, It also hurts knowing you only get one mother.. but even if another one came along they would NEVER EVER be able to replace her! ~She is that bright star in the sky lookin upon me and still motivating me to keep going~ its hard not being able to physically show her my acheivments or just even just ask her questions ( because every one knows that mums know best/everything)

I could keep going on about how much i would do anything to have her back or even if heaven had a phone just so i could hear her voice.. all i have is the insperation from her to keep pushing on and going strong and making her proud from above!

Im not just doing this for my mum but for other family members such as her mum ( my gran) who suffered from cancer but luckly and thankfully she is still with us today, But for every one else out there, i know how much it can effect people and their lives and will do my best to raise the money to help prevent this for every body...
