We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for coming to visit my fundraising page.  I'm taking part in the Race for Life again this year in memory of my friend Jenny Greene.  Jenny was 28 when she sadly passed away on Wednesday 28 March 2007 - she is greatly missed.

For the 6th year, I will be running alongside Jen Harvey and Kim Danby.  We have each lost people close to us to cancer - a friend, a mother, a grandparent - and that is why this run is so important to us.  We hope that our taking part in this event will raise awareness of this amazing charity and, with your donations, support the work that they do in the battle to beat cancer.

In keeping with tradition, we have again chosen a different venue and this year we'll be in Leeds (we've previously taken part in Sheffield, Doncaster, Cheshire, London and Manchester).

This event really does mean a great deal to us so please help us to raise as much as possible for Cancer Research UK.

Gift Aid it!.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you..

Every pound you donate really does make a difference – so please sponsor me now!.

Many thanks for your support. Together we will beat cancer.
