Story

Help more people beat cancer

Da-dum-dadum….. da dum… da um da dum da dum da dum da dum… Da da da da!

For those of you who know me, will know that I lost my Dad to this dreaded disease in September 2010. I run for him.

Last year (my second Race for Life) I thought I would try something a bit different and run in a Pink Panther Costume.

The movie The Return of the Pink Panther is synonymous with my childhood, my brother and I must have watched the VHS a gazilion times.

As I run the 10km Race for Life on Father's day the 17th of June, I will not only be thinking of my own loss but all those close to me who have lost. More importantly those who have special people in their lives who are still fighting!

Please donate, even £2. Can you imagine if all my friends and family gave me £2?

Together we can beat Cancer.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer.

Gift Aid it!

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Every pound you donate really does make a difference - so please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support. Together we will beat cancer.
