Story

Help more people beat cancer

Lia Milionis is a childhood friend from primary school. We were in the same school plays and in the choir together. We connected again about 5 years over the wonderful Facebook. Lia passed away about 3 months ago from Cancer. I had always said I would run the race for life but kept finding excuses. With my recent weight loss success, I feel energized (really?) and lighter in weight and..I promised to run Race for Life in memory of my friend. To that end I have made the first step of actually registering for the race. I will be running the 5K race for life in St Albans on the 15 of July. I would like to aim to finish this inside 30mins (did I really say that???).
