Team Nana is walking /running the 'Race for Life' in fondest memory of a lovely Mum and Nana, Marguerite, Mum to Janet and Pam, Nana to Sarah, Matthew, Adam and Helen.  Many years ago she fought her own battle against breast cancer with courage and dignity and we are proud to do this in her name.

Along the way we will also be thinking of various relatives (especially Grandads Phil and Mattie) and friends who have had to deal with cancer in one way and another and have inspired us to do this event.

Janet has also challenged herself to do this walk after having a hip replacement in August last year and appreciates the support of friends and family in this endeavor.

As a team we aim to raise a good amount for the charity and hope it will bring us all a step closer to the cure.

Team Nana just wanted to say thank you so much to all our friends and relations who sponsored us in our Race for Life walk/run. It was a truly emotional and awe inspiring experience to be part of such an uplifting and positive event.  Pam and Sarah got Team Nana off to a fantastic start, running the 5K in just over 30 minutes and Janet and Helen were delighted to walk the course in just under an hour.  We are so pleased with the amount we have raised for the charity that we may even do it again!
