Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page.

On Wednesday May 25th I'll be taking part in the Cardiff 5k "Race for Life". There are two reasons I'm doing this.

First is the obvious reason working to beat cancer is a Good Thing. It got my Nana, it got my Mum, it got too many of my friends, and my sister has fought it off it twice so far.

The second reason is that in helping raise money for Race for Life I'm hoping to help myself. I freely admit that I'm a blob, albeit a smaller blob than I used to be, and setting myself a target like this event is to push myself to continue with my blob reduction plan. This is not going to be a gentle 'amble round the park' for me - I may manage running the whole distance but at worst I plan to tackle this at a decent Scout's pace.
