First things first, I'm not a runner.  I'm not even what you'd consider to be sporty.  (Or even fit for that matter)  But all of that pales into insignificance when you find out that a friend has passed away due to this illness.

A group of old school friends (from primary and secondary) are getting together for the first time in 14 years to run the Race for Life in honour of Joanne Thorpe, who sadly lost her battle earlier this month.
