Story
I did it!
The day after race day and I'm feeling very proud but very sore too. The 1st km went pretty quick, the 2nd was slower... the last was unbearable! Not the most fun I've ever had and so much harder than I was expecting after all the training I'd done but Sharon kept me going - thanks honey! - and I didn't stop to walk once.
Thank you to everyone for sponsoring me - it really motivated me to keep going and I'm so touched by everyone's generosity. Thanks also to Jonny, Hels, Tom and James for coming to cheer us on! It was so brilliant to see you just before the 4km mark!

I've never been one for exercise (possibly an understatement!) especially not running but against all odds I've been training hard and on Saturday 21st July I'm running 5k in aid of Cancer Research UK and in memory of my Grandma Sweet.
Please dig deep and sponsor me now! 5K may not sound like far but for me it's a real challenge for a great cause. And for all you London lads and lassies the run takes place in Regent's Park if you want to witness me running for yourself.
Don't forget to tick the Gift Aid box as CRUK will then get an extra 28p from the government for every £1 you sponsor me.
Lots of love,
