Story
Thanks to all who sponsored me! I ran and walked the 5km and came in at 58 minutes!!! Not bad to say I've got a dodgy hip!!!
We smashed my target! But don't let it stop there! Keep donating!!! Its all for a great cause!!!
Who did I run for......?
I was thinking for some time on who to race this in memory of. Then I realised it was on Father's Day. So I decided to do Race for Life in memory of my Grandad who passed away in 2007 from prostate cancer.
My Grandad spent his final days at Whitecross Court in York, where he was looked after by a very supportive, kind and understanding team of staff.
There is not a day goes by that I don't think of my Grandad. I miss him dearly, and anything I can do to help raise awareness and money to research all types of cancer is worthwhile.
Please dig deep in your hearts and pockets to show you care, and help more people beat cancer.
