As a nurse, i have seen people suffer the devastating effects of cancer. I have also experienced this first hand when my dad was diagnosed with skin cancer, and recently, my very brave aunty. I have seen all too clearly the loss and pain that cancer can cause, and the courage needed for those left behind. I am doing Race For Life for all those i love. For my dad, my aunty and my exceptionally brave friend who tragically lost her mum last year. I am doing it for all the brave children i have nursed and all that have shared this pain.
