Cancer, we're coming to get you!

 

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. I know from previous years that sponsoring me online makes things easier for my overseas friends!

This will be my ninth year. I ran my first race for my best friend Gill who lost her fight 16 years ago. Sadly, each year I am adding more names to my race list. Despite all the odds, my son's good friend (and Anne's son, my running partner) is still fighting, having undergone radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery.  He is so brave and positive and only 21 – it’s heartbreaking but highlights exactly why I do this each year.
I know I can rely on my faithful group of friends and family to support me again this year. I hope you know how much this means to me and what a difference it will make to Cancer Research.
