I've bought the trainers and the special socks!  I've got the ipod and I'm half way through the training programme - so far so good.  Only a couple of weeks to go before I have to run the 5k!  I'm just hoping that it's not going to be hot on the day

UPDATE- Only a week to go and training is not going too bad. Am managing to run for 15 mins without stopping, which is something for me as i couldnt run for a bus a few weeks ago!!  Will have to run for about 35-40 mins on the day so hoping the crowd will keep me going!
