On the 8th May this year my Sister and I will be taking part in the Race for Life, for the first time, in aid of Cancer Research.

Last August we sadly lost our dear Mum to Mesothelioma, a type of lung cancer related to exposure to asbestos. Mum is forever in our hearts and minds and by taking part in the race we are able to show just how much we love and miss her.

We have seen first hand just how vicious and unrelenting this disease is and it is our hope that by raising awareness of the condition we are able to reduce the numbers affected and help to provide the care and attention sufferers desperately require.
