Before this year I'd never run a mile in my life so to tackle 5k was a challenge. However this year I decided that I was going to start running and Paul doing the marathon last year was a spur as well (I also liked the fact you could escape the kids at the weekend for a while!!). So I got the gear (co-ordinated of course) and here goes....

I'd be grateful if you could sponsor me however much or little you like. Like most people doing the "Race for life" I've been inspired by someone to do this and when my legs hurt, my face is like a beetroot and I feel like walking I think of her and get moving....(ok so I'm still slow but it isn't walking!!)
