Why I am doing the Race for Life 

My sister was dianosed with breast cancer last year.  Although the cells found were pre-cancerous, she has had to have a mastectomy, but she is ok.  I am doing the Race for Life to raise funds for research into this horrible disease.  I am also running for my friend Karen's sister, who  has had to have a mastectomy.  She also needs to have the strongest chemo going and radiotherapy.  She is 36 and has a family.  She needs all the support she can get.

If you can manage a small donation, I would be grateful - I always hate asking people for money - particularly friends and family, I used to hate having sponsorship forms at school, but my sister's situation and that of Karen's sister has made me rethink things.
