Many people have their world torn apart through cancer, including me, my Mum and several of my friends and colleagues. As you know, I lost my beloved father to cancer in January 2007 and I'm running - well to be honest, walking - in memory of him. Last time 5k - this time, bring on the full 10k!!

Sadly, I am now also participating in this event in memory of my friend Jeanne, who lost her fight against cancer at the end of June.
