Hey guys!!

So I've finally decided to get off my lazy bum and raise some money for cancer research!!

I've always wanted to take part in race for life. Cancer Research is such an amazing charity. I’ve known many people who have suffered with it and it’s not a fun thing for anyone to have to experience, (obviously).

 

The main person that I’m doing this for is Carly Watson. When we were in year 5 she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This was the first time I’d ever known someone to have cancer, not to mention someone who was a classmate and a friend. We did loads of fundraising back then, named in her honour, called ‘The Carly Campaign’. Unfortunately, Carly died the following year, aged 10 years old. To this day she is still remembered in the hearts of everyone that knew her.

 

This year, on the 6^th of July, it would be Carly’s 21^st birthday. I made the decision to take part in race for life for definite, to mark this occasion.

 

Please sponsor me! I want to reach my target of £100 and can only do that with all your help!! I’m running with my two course mates Sarah and Leonard (Claire). If you have the time sponsor them too!
