We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting my sponsor page for race for life!

These events mean a great deal to me as many of you will probably know from seeing me run race for life annually and last year taking on my biggest challenge of the half marathon. This is because my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. She went through lots of intensive treatments including chemotherapy and radiotherapy which at the time we thought had given her the all clear. But 3 years later in 2009 it came back. She one of the bravest people I know and still continues her battle against cancer everyday.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer. Witnessing myself what cancer can do to people is heartbreaking and if you can help by donating even a small amount towards finding the cure for cancer than I'd be more than grateful.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Every pound you donate really does make a difference - so any donation big or small will really help :)

Many thanks for your support. Together we will beat cancer.
