There are two main reasons I want to do this race.  When I was 9 years old, I lost my nan to cancer.  I was so close to her, and at that age I didn't really understand it.  She showed an enormous sense of bravery, and I will never forget that, or her.  Since then, my cousin's wife has had cancer, and I have begun to understand the major impact cancer has had on their lives.  Della has been the most courageous young woman, despite the many ups and downs she has had over the past 18 months.  So this is for them xxx
