I am in good health and have an attitude of gratitude about this every day. 

My husband and my BFF have both had cancer and were treated, got the all clear and have been fit and well for many years.  My mum's friend more recently has also had cancer and it looks like treatment has gone well.  I have a hat-trick of happy endings for the people in my life who have been affected by cancer.

I've been thinking about doing the Race for Life for years - finally got my arse into gear and got on with it.

My pace is the now famous "Granny Tap" ... faster than a walk, but slower than a jog.  I'm training with my colleague and friend Sue and we'll be running together in fancy dress (or course) as PINK PUNKS!
