Story
It will be a very poignant day when I run my second 5k for cancer research, as it will be a year to the day since my mother in law Sheila Davies died of Lung Cancer. Her diagnosis came out of the blue as she didnt fit the "criteria" for people who get lung cancer, the same as my Dad didnt fit the criteria for bowel cancer, it just proves that cancer isnt selective, it can affect anyone.
Cancer has always been in my life, robbing me of the memories that should have been made, and leaving me with ones that I'd prefer not to have. Thats why I'm running the Race for Life, I want to help stop cancer from being a killer and help give people the time to create the memories that we all deserve to make.
Please help me to raise money for Cancer Research, every pound you donate really does make a difference.
Many thanks for your support. Together we will beat cancer.
