I ran for my Nanny who passed away from cancer on 31/01/2013. I miss her everyday and every person that told me I did her proud, brought a tear to my eye. I know she was looking down on me and that was her making the sun shine. I miss her so much. I think about her everyday. I wish she was still here, to hear her voice once more, to see her face another time, to just take in the beauty that was my nan. £75 I've raised so far and people are still donating. I love it when people get together and make a crappy event joyful, putting a silver lining through every cloud. The force that people can create when they are put together is outstanding and one day we will kick cancer in the face and it will disappear forever. I pray for that day as that will be the best scientific discovery ever to be found. I pray for my nan, all those who didn't survive cancer and all those who did as they are the brave ones out there. They fought and fought and fought and whether they survived or they didn't, they are the strongest people in the human race and I commend every one of them. R.I.P. nan, I love you forever and a day, to infinity and beyond, to life beyond the grave, I will see you again some day.
