Dear Friends & Family,

First off thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page.

As most of you will know I lost a very special friend to Bowl Cancer recently, Sammy who I have had the pleasure of knowing 24 years of my life. It has been such a huge shock to myself & Sammy's family & so many of her friends, everything just happened so quick. Sammy never once let on how poorly she really was and stayed positive & strong right to the end. Sammy passed away in August 2009 at the age of just 28 years old, but in her young life Sammy achieved so much. Sammy left behind so many who adored her, Heidi, Sammy's twin, her  little girl Alex & her husband Paul only mentioning a few.

In Sammy's memory I want to make her proud by taking part in the Race for Life & raising awareness as well as raising as much money as I possibly can towards Cancer Research UK. So please help me to achieve my goal & sponsor me as much or as little as you like every penny really does count.

I have never been the best runner & even go as far as saying I would never run, lets be honest I was rubbish! ....

I want to support Heidi, Sammy's twin & make this a day to remember, I know Sammy will be looking down on us smiling with pride & laughing hard because she knows how bad I am at running :)

Missing you loads my beautiful friend,

I will run like the wind for you, well thats what I intend.

My Nana, & Nanny not forgetting Grandad too,

I will run that bit further in loving memory of you.

I hope & I pray that a cure will soon arrive

to put hope in so many hearts & help them to survive
