Story
Another year and I'm back again!! Hoping to raise some money for this worthy cause.
Its now my 7th race since my grandad passed away from asbestosis, the reason why I originally started raising money for this charity. Last July my stepdad lost his battle with cancer. After 3 years of chemo and radiotherapy for throat and then lung cancer, bringing it home again just how important our donations really are. I cant thank the Macmillan and Hospice staff enough for the faultless care they provided for him, however we still need to find a way to stop this disease in the first place, and by supporting me on this race we can make a difference. As the slogan says, 'Every little helps'!
By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer, giving to Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
Thanks for taking the time to read my webpage.
