Hello all

This is my second time around running the Race for Life - last year was my first ever charity event - about time! - and I suprised myself by running (or jogging..) the whole thing albeit very slowly  

The Race for Life raises money for Cancr Research UK to help prevent, diagnose and treat cancer - thank you again to everyone who sponsored me last year - you helped me raise over £350 - this year, I'd love to raise £500 and I hope you can help me get there

Last year I ran in memory of one person, my friend Agnes who died of breast cancer aged just 34.  This time I'm running to remember her again, and to help those who are still here

The competitive bit - as well as raising a lot more money, I'd also like to actually race the Race for Life and cut 10 minutes off my snail's pace time which won't be a pretty sight...  Those who want to come and watch, there is a pub at the start/finish line
