My aim is to run not walk. I've only just started running so,although it's a short distance, it will feel like a marathon to me!

I'm running with certain people in mind -  some have survived cancer and others have not been so fortunate. I'll also be thinking of  my Dad. He didn't suffer from cancer but had a terminal lung disease.  Dad was very determined and had true grit which helped him cope with his illness. Hopefully I've inherited some of that determination which will help me to the finish line.
