I have not personally lost anyone close to me to breast cancer but i did have a bit of a scare myself earlier this year with a lump in my breast which turned out to be totally beign but alot of thoughts did go through my head about those women not so fortunate but  a cause such as this has allowed many more women the chance to survive, so i wanted to do my bit!!

Also this is the very first time i've run further than the end of my road!!!! those of you that know me know me and exercise aren't the best of friends but thought it was about time i got fit for becoming a physio!  so i took this oppotunity to give me an incentive to get fit and do something for a good cause!
