Sadly, since writing my page text (below), in under 4 weeks, my Uncle Martin was diagnosed with and has already died from cancer. 

I now run for you too Uncle Mart.  You knew I was running this race.  None of us could ever have imagined you would not be here when I did it.

Two years ago, I participated in Race for Life after tragically losing my brother.  With Dave's name on my back, along with Giuseppe, Jenny and Tony, I ran in their memory.

This year, I am running again in honour of 3 very special people:

Again for Dave:  my dearest brother who fought so hard and lost his battle to cancer in February 2007 - I never stop missing you big brother ...

For Olivia:  my 2nd cousin who died far, far too young from cancer in March this year

For Maurice:  a dear friend and inspirational man who died from cancer in September 2008 

In memory of these 3 (now 4) dear people who left us too soon and who we miss so much, I would be grateful for your sponsorship to help future sufferers of this terrible disease.
