I entered Race For Life for the first time last year in memory of my mum Veronica Gilbert.  I was delighted when I not only managed to complete the full 5km, but also ran all the way.

I am not a good runner & even after completing the race last year, I still find it hard going.   Having done less training this year.... it will no doubt be tougher :(

However, it is a good way of hopefully helping more people beat cancer & prevent them going through the same thing my Mum did.
