I decided to participate in this years race for life in honour of my good friend Lynne who lost her fight with cancer this year aged 54, she is pictured opposite in the middle of another two of my good friends Carol and Nicky. 

Lynne was one of the most courageous women I knew and she never let her illness get the better of her.  Lynne was funny, kind and generous and I will remember her forever.
