Story

Salaam everyone!

This Ramandan is like no other, it's with a very heavy heart I write this story.

I am raising money to help those less fortunate in memory of my beloved grandparents (may Allah (SWT) have mercy on them). They passed away with COVID 19 within 4 days of each other, unaware of each others passing. Their bond was so beautiful that they could not live in this Dunya without each other. Our lives will never be the same.

My grandparents always gave what they could and more to people less fortunate, mosques and endless charities; they were firm believers in giving for the sake of Allah.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said; “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”

Nanu and nanabhai always filled our stomachs with food and love at iftaar time so I ask this Ramadan we fill their good deeds with endless sadaqa jariyah.

And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you, and he says, “My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous”’. (Qur’an, 63:10)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:"When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them,” (Hadith, Muslim).

Please donate whatever you can to support the cause, any amount will be greatly appreciated even £1, I pray that you are all rewarded for your efforts and contributions.

Ameen
