Story
Scotland’s national LGBTI youth work charity, supports thousands of young people every year, providing a lifeline of support and opportunities - through in-person and on-line youth groups and one-to-one support. They also work with schools and organisations through our LGBT Charter Programme to help them to proactively include LGBTI people in every aspect of their work and school.
What is Purple Friday? Purple Friday is LGBT Youth Scotland’s annual fundraising day and it always takes place on the last Friday of February (which is LGBT History Month). On Purple Friday people from across the country to walk, run, cycle, swim, bunny hop… (the possibilities are endless!) around the 2,500km coastline of Scotland in just one day.
It is 7 miles between my two churches so I will be walking 7 miles, however, the road between the two churches contains sections that no one should ever walk along therefore I will be doing my 7 miles by walking 7 times around Lochend Loch, which is 1 mile around. If you can please support me and more importantly LGBT Youth Scotland, Thank you.
