For the next 3 years we are supporting the project 'Educate Children for Life'.  By raising money we are hoping to transform the lives of 250,000 of the world's most vulnerable children through education projects.  This will open up new opportunities for their future.  

The project will encompass literacy programmes, train teachers and establish reading clubs.

The priorities are the hardest to reach communities with the lowest literacy rates and household incomes.  The families are empowered to choose education as a vital investment in their children's futures.  Some of the countries which are making this a reality are:  Senegal, Ethiopia, Myanmar and Zimbabwe.

In order to make this project work - World Vision, with our help, need to raise £2.1 million between now and 2019.  If we can raise this money then the Global Partners will match-fund and make the project happen!

During the year - I will host fundraising events, sales of goods and anything else I can think of to raise funds.  Please support us by coming to these events.  Or, if you would like to host an event yourself - please feel free to do so.  If there are any items you have which could be sold to raise funds - again this would be very welcome.
