Pedal from the Hospice itself to the majestic city centre of Paris in this four day bucket list challenge

Story

A good friend of mine recently lost her mum to cancer, and we witnessed the incredible impact that St Peter's Hospice made to all of their lives. It wasn’t just the way that they helped her Mum: they gave the whole family the support they needed to be confident that they could manage her Mum’s symptoms, so she could remain comfortable at home, where she wanted to be.

So, when she asked a group of us to get involved in a charity bike ride from Bristol to Paris to raise money for St Peters, of course we said yes.

It’s important that we did - what I didn’t realise about this essential, local institute, is that 80% of its funding comes from events like this. Thanks to your donation they can be a voice at the end of the phone 24X7 providing therapy, emotional and psychological support for patients, carers and professionals.

To be honest, I didn’t even own a road bike when I said yes - that’s how much I wanted to help! But I’ve now fully invested in a bike, lycra and energy bars and I’m about to embark on months of training in the darkness and the rain to make sure I can go the distance and make St Peters (and my family) proud.

So please sponsor me. It doesn’t matter how little you can spare, it will all help.
