Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
On the 27th September 2015, I am going to be getting my Paula Radcliffe on at the Ealing Half Marathon. This is the first time I have ever attempted to run further than for a bar of Galaxy, so wish me luck!
I am running in very loving memory of my dear friend Anne Phillips, who sadly passed in June 2014 to a vicious disease known as myeloma. I think Anne would probably be as shocked as I am that I am going to be running around 13 miles because whenever I popped round, it usually involved alcohol. More importantly, a carton of tesco value wine. Our time together was spent acting classy, of course.
More about the nasty stuff... Myeloma, also known as multiple myeloma, is a cancer that arises in the plasma cells (a type of white blood cell) made in the bone marrow. Bone marrow is a sponge like material found in the larger bones of body. This is why it is known as multiple myeloma as it can take affect across the whole body. Unlike many cancers, there are no lumps or tumours found in these areas.
Treatment for myeloma is aimed at disease control, relieving complications and symptoms it causes,. and extending and improving the quality of patients' lives. This is where I am hoping you can help me... With any money you can spare (it all helps!) to donate I am hoping we can help put an end to myeloma and help those who are already fighting the disease.

Really appreciate you taking the time, even if it is just to look because now you are aware! If you can/have donate(d), I am incredibly grateful!
