As an autistic woman, I think Autistica is a great charity to support. They are autism positive, have a great approach to research and support families with autistic members.

I’m joining in Relax Mode because I find games a great way of chilling out and socialising, which i sometimes can’t do in person. Relax Mode is a great way of showing gaming as a positive way of bringing people together to discuss not only autism, but mental health as well - after all, they are very closely linked.

I want to show and share a bit of my world with you so you can see my strengths, my difficulties and how I use gaming to relax too. I’m hoping to arrange some guests, some giveaways and some fun games to get us all talking, sharing and having positive conversations.

The event will be held on Saturday 19th October with timings to be confirmed depending on my childcare situation.
